  • Jan 10th House State Government & Tribal Relations Committee - - The bill is heard at the last 10 minutes, starting at 1:08. Testifiers want to ensure there is education associated with this holiday on the value of the voting franchise, and that it is a day to acknowledge that people of color remained disenfranchised because of state rules. Rep. Lekanoff is eager to make that happen - the testimony is powerful so I hope we encourage others to listen.
